Hi I'm Joe, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, I've been a therapist for over 10 years working with various populations and struggles. I love what I do, watching people discover their best selves and to treat themselves with love and kindness is a beautiful thing to witness.

My thoughts on therapy;
Therapy should be viewed as a partnership between client and therapist, working together to help you understand yourself on a deeper level.

My role as your therapist is to guide you in your process of self-discovery, challenge those internal thoughts that can be defeating, and empower you to pursue your goals as you gain an increased understanding of your life and find solutions to your situations.

Some of my areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, body image, relationship and marital issues, childhood abuse, PTSD, substance use, trauma, and grief and loss. I am a retired veteran with 26 years of service, I work with veterans and their families. I have experience working with the LGBTQ community and autism spectrum.
My approach is Person-Centered in addition to Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Rest assured that this is a safe and secure place for you to unpack burdens of confusion, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, insecurities, lack of motivation, and fear. We will get to the root of the problem one session at a time and utilize the best solution.
